The Saudi Cup is a relatively new horse racing event that takes place annually in Saudi Arabia. The inaugural event was held in 2020 and featured a total purse of $20 million, making it one of the richest horse races in the world.

The Saudi Cup is the main event of the day, with a purse of $20 million. It is a 1,800-meter (about 1 1/8 miles) dirt race open to horses four years old and up.

In addition to the featured race, there are several other races that take place during the Saudi Cup, including the Saudi Arabian Airlines Riyadh Dirt Sprint, the Obaiya Arabian Classic, the Jockey Club Local Handicap, and the STC Saudi Derby.
